The ’Best Presentation’ Award for the 32nd North Sea Flow Measurement Workshop

Dec 16, 2014

The ’Best Presentation’ Award for the 32nd North Sea Flow Measurement Workshop, was awarded to Gary Potten, Director of Project Management for the Measurement Systems division at Cameron, for his paper on verifying sampling uncertainty using previous data and experience.

The winning technical paper, “Methods of Determining and Verifying Fiscal Sampling System Uncertainty by Analysing 25 Years of Real Field Proving Data and Laboratory Tests Compared with International Acceptance Criteria”,  co-authored by Stuart Wright, R and D Engineer at Cameron,  was thought to best represent the ethos of the workshop of sharing helpful and useable information to industry.

It was a tough competition with over 20 presentations included as part of the technical proceedings. However, Gary’s paper was judged by the technical committee to offer extremely valuable, real world information on the very topical subject of sampling.

The NSFMW is an annual event where over 400 measurement specialists from across the world gather to network and share process and product knowledge.

Congratulations to Gary and Stuart on this prestigious award, and for another successful NSFMW event.
